Licence Me was founded by a young and enthusiastic sports shooter based on his own experience and journey in researching, learning and obtaining multiple firearm licences for dedicated sports shooting and self defence.

Born out of identifying a need, and growing through solving that need with excellent service and second to none systems, Licence Me aim to offer South Africans a premium service to obtain firearm competency and licences whether it is for sports shooting, hunting or self defence.

We serve the individual, the institution and the industry:

THE CUSTOMER: Our goal is to cut through the complications and make the process simple and easy to understand, and offer our customers an effective application service, eliminating the guesswork and admin on their part.
THE OFFICER: We have consulted with numerous SAPS DFO officers across South Africa to better understand their specific pain-points, frustrations and requirements so that every single one of our applications address these needs and make the life of the DFO and CFR as easy as possible.
THE BUSINESS: We've spent countless hours collecting and mapping places of interest to put people in contact with businesses. Whether it's finding your local gun shop or navigating to your nearest shooting range or SAPS station, our maps are there to connect make the connections simple.

We're all about sharing information and knowledge. Everything needed to compile your own firearm competency or licence application is availably free of charge to download from our website. We don't intent to operate behind smoke and mirrors; we are confident in the value that our turn-key service provides by doing the work and the admin for our customer in their application submissions.
